ROUH Oracle: When Women Move Worlds

ROUH Oracle: When Women Move Worlds

Since I started talking about the upcoming release of the ROUH oracle, I received many straight-up questions:

🔸 What is an oracle deck?
🔸 Why call it ROUH?
🔸 Who’s it for?
🔸 Why these women?
🔸 What do I actually get if I back it?

Fair questions. If you’re going to support something, you deserve clarity. So here’s the real deal behind this deck, why I made it, and what’s inside.

What exactly is an oracle deck?

An oracle deck is a tool for insight and connection. Shuffle, pull a card, follow your intuition...it’s about sparking reflection in the moment. The guidebook helps ground each message, but how you use it is entirely yours. The word oracle itself comes from the Latin oraculum, “to speak.” For centuries, oracles were voices that carried truth. ROUH oracle carries that legacy forward, not as fortune-telling, but as fire-telling: igniting courage, intuition, and soul fire in your present, right where you stand.

What does ROUH mean?

ROUH (روح) is Arabic for soul, spirit, breath of life. It’s the unseen spark that moves us, the fire that won’t be silenced. The deck carries this name because every card is designed to awaken that same ROUH within you.

Who is the ROUH Oracle for?

For anyone ready to rise. For the rebels, the visionaries, the healers, the seekers. It’s grounded in the voices of North African women, but its message is universal: courage, wisdom, and soul fire belong to all of us.

Why these women?

Narrowing it down to 46 was the hardest part. The women in this deck are drawn from both legend and history. Some widely known, others almost forgotten; but each carries a distinct essence, distilled into a soul quality that rises through her card.

When Women Move Worlds, it starts as a feeling, a spark in the gut, a fire in the chest, long before the mind catches up. When women move worlds, they don’t ask permission. They disrupt, they ignite, they shift what seemed unshakable.

ROUH oracle begins right there, in the raw pulse of courage and spirit, reminding us that their fire is already our own.

What’s inside the box?

ROUH oracle comes as a complete collector’s set, crafted to feel both timeless and durable. Inside are 46 cards (3.5 x 5 inches), printed on 350gsm premium cardstock with a matte varnish finish makes it durable, grounded, and bold enough to showcase every detail. A 100-page full-color guidebook brings each card to life with images and reflections. Everything is housed in a 1200gsm magnetic-close keepsake box that's protective, elegant, and made to be both ritual-worthy and ready for everyday use.

What’s Kickstarter, and why are you using it?

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform. Normally, creators wait to see if a project is funded before printing. I’m not waiting. Printing starts now, before I know if it will be fully funded.

Why? Because I believe in this deck. I want you to have it in your hands by the end-of-year holidays. And because this is the first Maghrebi Oracle deck, it’s about putting North African women and their wisdom on the map, giving their fire a global stage.

By backing the campaign, you’ll be among those who will get their hands on the first 500 copies released. That’s the circle of people who help bring ROUH Oracle to life.

If you haven’t signed up yet, now’s the moment 😉 ROUH on KICKSTARTER (literally haha!)
